We are Trailer.One: Germany’s first B2B marketplace
for trailer and caravan technology

 

Trailer.One is a niche marketplace in the B2B segment. Our product focus is on components, spare parts and accessories for car trailers and caravans.


Trailer.One brings together commercial customers and suppliers without the involvement of intermediaries. As a result, customers gain direct access to a broad, qualified supplier network, benefit from standardised processes and enjoy maximum price and condition transparency. Suppliers gain access to a large customer base and can position themselves on the platform as they wish. Integrated credit checks and proven IT standards ensure legal and commercial security in all business transactions, including across borders.

Trailer.One brings clarity to what is otherwise a rather complex market.
The wide variety of vehicles and manufacturers, combined with long product life cycles, creates a high demand for information among different customer groups. That is why buyers do not simply find “everything related to car trailers” in one place – they also benefit from a central advisory service backed by more than 175 years of combined market experience.

The idea of building an online marketplace originally dates back to 2007. As a sister company of Helmut BÜNTE GmbH, a wholesaler for trailer parts, we turned this idea into reality 15 years later.

Our roots therefore lie in the traditional wholesale business: at the heart of the market, where personal contact still matters and a handshake still means something.

We continue to uphold these values today – while completely reinterpreting our role. We want to connect people, as one would say nowadays. We generate most of our revenue through commissions and usage fees, meaning usually only once a transaction has been successfully completed.

We are a team of 13 specialists with expertise in technology/service, e-commerce and sales/marketing. Our home is the technology centre in Bissendorf near Osnabrück – modern, connected and always evolving, yet still only around 3 kilometres away from the old cowshed where it all began back in 1990.
