Description
The HESTAL retaining cam 6044 is the counterpart to the eccentric lock: when closing, the shackle of the lock engages in the retaining cam and pulls the dropside or flap tight.
Align retaining cam and lock with each other so that the shackle engages fully. After fitting, set the tensioning length on the lock so that the lever closes with noticeable pre-tension.
